The department offers B.Sc.,(Computer
Science) BCA, B.Sc.,(I.T) at the UG level and M.Sc.,(Computer
Science) M.C.A., M.Sc.,(I.T) at the PG level and M.Phil.,
(Computer Science). The department has a well equipped modern
computer laboratory with state-of-the art facilities. Books
and Journals are available in our library. The department
has well qualified experienced and committed staff- members
who take extra effort to motivate the students both in studies
and in attending all the training programmes. The performance
of the students is periodically intimated to their parents.
The department is very proud to produce allmost 100 % results
in the univers examinations every year. Several university
ranks are produced in the department.
The department is provided with two laboratories
exclusively for conducting practical classes. The department
has a well stacked library comprising of 5000 volumes of text
books and other reference books. The lab is provided with
250 machines of advanced configuration in order to cater to
the future needs of students. With excellent infrastructure
the machines are interconnected through structured cabling
to speed up transmission. The college endeavors to open up
new vistas of knowledge and instill in the young minds of
students a scientific temperament to provide lucrative career.
The department signed an MOU with COMPAK
and as a part of association activities it had hosted many
seminars on recent trends in information technology. Computer
science students are now working in reputed IT companies both
in India and abroad.
